Recommended Usage Directions

1. Remove the Strings: For a thorough maintenance session, remove all strings from your guitar, bass, or ukulele.

2. Apply to Cloth: Shake the bottle gently. Apply 2 to 3 small drops of F-ONE Oil onto a premium lint-free cloth (like the MusicNomad MN204 Fretboard Cloth). Never pour the oil directly onto the fretboard.

3. Rub Into Wood: Work the oil into the wood grain across each fret space, paying close attention to corners near the fret wire where sweat crust and finger oils accumulate.

4. Wipe Off Excess: Allow the oil to penetrate the wood for 1 to 2 minutes. Take a clean, dry section of your microfiber towel and completely wipe off any excess surface oil until the wood looks rich, dark, and matte.

Important Usage Note: Do not use this oil on lacquered or gloss-finished fretboards (commonly found on vintage-style Maple necks).
