Lows are pronounced, and the mids sing out with a rich warmth. And because the top is solid, it’s only going to get better with age! As the wood develops and loses moisture content it’ll enhance the resonance and punch of the tone.

Super Folk shape

Play with ease. The smaller size of the Super Folk makes the Winterleaf ideal for players who prefer a guitar that’s easier to hold. In addition, this diminutive shape allows for a bright and clear tonality that’s especially suited to fingerpicking and lead styles. What’s more, the attractive cut-away carve allows for easy access to the upper frets so you can explore a truly dynamic way of playing.

Need a little extra volume? The Winterleaf TW4-BLA is here to accommodate. Courtesy of its Tanglewood Premium Plus electronics, this ingenious preamp offers a superb reproduction of your natural tone. In addition, it provides four sound shaping controls so that you can find the ideal setting for your situation. A three band EQ and presence dial let you sculpt the tone to your taste, while a phase switch button and volume knob increase your options even further. But that’s not all! A built-in chromatic tuner ensures you’ll always have the correct pitch, whether you’re practicing at home or tuning up before the gig.
